For many primary school children, the cycling proficiency test is their first independent step into road traffic. Helmet on, look over the shoulder, hand signal: what should later become second nature is practised beforehand. The traffic safety colouring book “Unterwegs mit dem Rad” (“Out and about by bike”) supports this very process.
